RECESSION - DOWNWARD SLOPING YIELD CURVE
The following Curve is an average of yields from 1/01/2023 to 26/4/2023. This shows on average for last few months yield curve has shown flattish downward sloping behavior. A downward sloping curves indicates a possibility of recession in near future. Similar downward sloping curve was seen during the Mortgage crisis in 2008.
